 Testimonials

"If you are interested in good nutrition as a way to lose weight and be healthier this class is for you. Once again as the new year rolled around I made the goal of losing weight and becoming healthier.  As tempting as it is to try the newest fad in weight loss, hormones, pills, expensive meal plans, I knew I wanted to get healthy while eating real nutritious food.  The nutrition and health class run by Nancy was just what I was hoping for.  Nancy has great information on healthy eating, exercise, stress management and positive thinking. I have lost 8 lbs in the 8 weeks that I have been doing the class.  I feel ready to continue on with the information gained and continue reaching my goals."
 - Tina Johnson (lost 10 lbs)
"... I took the health and nutrition class to get back to eating more healthy foods and to control my food portions so that would better control my weight. Nancy Hadley did a very professional job of teaching the class and having excellent hand outs to document the class discussions. She also had effective visual aids and brought samples of healthy food items she had prepared for us to try. While I have not reached the complete goals of the class, I have learned to control my appetite better and am continuing to implement the training I have received. I would encourage anyone who is interested in eating a more balanced diet, and, or losing a few pounds, to enroll in the next class."
 - Gerry Bettridge (lost 7 lbs)

"I didn't really think I needed to lose weight when I took this class.  I just wanted to learn how to eat more healthy and what a portion size really is. By just doing these things, I have lost ten pounds!"
 - Michelle Cobbley (lost 16 bls and still going)

"This class taught me the difference between losing 'weight' and losing 'fat'. The class gave me information that I could TAKE with me and read again and again. This will help me to continue my quest on my own."
 - Joan Page

"Coming to this nutrition class has made me take a look at what I was eating. It helped with what to eat and how much. I struggle losing weight & knew it had to come from my nutrition, not just from exercise. It was good putting them both together to help me in my weigh loss goals."

"This Weight-Loss and Wellness Program was an interesting class. I learned the food groups and the portion of each should be served at each meal. We discussed reading and understanding the labels on packaged foods. Cardiovascular training and strength or resistance training was emphasized; NEAT activity also counts.  In food preparation, I learned acceptable substitutions for ingredients to make the meal healthier... In all, this was an informative and fun class."
